Buying Your e-Book

e-Books are distributed using a package file containing an unencrypted “Samples” section and the encrypted book. Because the actual book is encrypted, the package file can be freely distributed or passed on to friends or other potential customers. The e-Book file is distributed as a Windows executable and uses the standard Adobe Acrobat reader.

When you open your e-Book file, you will see the free "samples" portion. If you decide to buy the book, simply click on the "Buy This Book Now" button and you will be directed to Paypal to complete the payment process. It it not necessary to have a Paypal account and you can pay for your book using a credit card.

After you buy your e-Book and complete the payment process, you will be sent an email containing an activation key that enabes you to unlock the encrypted book so you can view it on your computer.

The activation key is associated with your specific computer and cannot be used simultaneously on a different computer. If you want to use your e-Book on a different computer, you can deactivate it on your current computer and then activate it on another computer using the same activation key. Activating or deactivating an e-Book requires Internet access so the activation key can be verified. We find this bit of security necessary to prevent unauthorized copying and distribution of the books.
